Ms. Pauline Moody, 90, of South Fulton died Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Union City Nursing and Rehabilitation. Services will be held at noon on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. James Watford officiating. Interment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at the church.Sister Pauline Moody was born on October 3, 1927, to the late W.C. Moody and Cordelia Morris Moody. Pauline became a member of Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church in South Fulton, Tennessee, at a very young age. She attended faithfully and was a choir member, served on the usher board and on the Mother’s board. She was also a member of the Twin City Community Chorus. Pauline attended school at South Fulton Rosenwald and Tennessee State University. She was substitute teacher at Milton School, was employed at the Dudley Morris Estate and worked many years at the Haws Memorial Nursing Home until she retired. She lived in her family home until going to Union City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves to cherish her memories, the following who were raised as her own, Willie Moody, Christina Moody, Christopher Moody and Karen Moody; two sisters in law, Carol Moody (A.T.) of Ypsilanti, MI and Harriet Moody (James) of Marietta, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with family and friends to mourn her passing. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, A.T. Moody, James Moody and Elder Dr. Charles Moody, Sr.; two sisters, Margaret Moody and Ima Lou Moody; and a sister in law, Katie Moody.
