Pearl Westbrook

June 18, 1940 — October 31, 2024

Mrs. Pearl Westbrook, 84, of Hopkinsville, KY formerly of Hickman died Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Pearl Elizabeth Winters was born on June 18, 1940, in Hickman, Kentucky to the late Fred and Susie Winters.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She later recommitted herself to Christ and was a long-term member of Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Pearl was formerly united in marriage to the late Walvy Westbrook, Jr. Together they were devoted parents to one son and two daughters. She was an avid lover of watching Westerns and older television shows. In addition, Pearl enjoyed shopping, eating fried chicken, and sitting outside alone or talking with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters.

To forever cherish her memory are her beloved children, Steven (Jennifer) Westbrook, Kempner, TX, Michelle Brown (Darrell Bass), and Felisa (James) Coleman, Hopkinsville, KY; four brothers- J.C. Winters, Warren, OH, Homer (Barbara) Winters, Murfreesboro, TN, Fred Winters, Marion, IL, and George Winters, Carbondale, IL; four sisters- Doris Hughley, Dayton, OH, Loretha Winters, Glenda Moffatt, and Lorraine (Jimmy) Mays, all of Hickman, KY; eight grandchildren- Dr. Trenatee (Louis) Coleman-Solomom, J. Erick Coleman, Jeremy (Keyana) Coleman, Dr. Danielle Drakeford, Harold (Missy) Brown, Jr., Isaiah Brown, Hannah Brown, and Maliyah Brown; six great grandchildren who affectionately called her GiGi- Cayden Brown, Charitee Solomon, Armani Coleman, Asiah Brown, Chynna Thomas, and Vivian Solomon; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends- a dearest and closest friend, Brenda Dean, who was like a sister
