Peggy Joyce Daniels

Mrs. Peggy Joyce Holder Daniels, 73, of Union City died Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

Peggy Joyce Holder Daniels was born November 21, 1958, to Tommie "Son" and Jessie Holder in Union City, TN. She was the first of six children born to this union.

Peggy graduated from Miles High School. She loved her alma mater and worked as Secretary of the reunion committee.

She was a nurse and worked in that profession for more than 50 years.

Peggy was an avid reader and loved music. She could be found reading and listening to music everyday. She was lovingly referred to as Ms. B.E.T. by her nieces.

She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her four children; Darrin Daniels of Jackson, TN, Cynthia Moody of Martin, TN, Christie Daniels of Memphis, TN and LaShunda Daniels of Union City, TN; six grandchildren; Makala Daniels of Nashville, TN, Bradly Daniels of Union City, TN, Danielle Moody of Martin, TN, Brooke Moody of Humboldt, TN , Aaliyah Daniels of Dyer, TN; four great grandchildren; Peyton Daniels, Riley Weaver, Cameron Neloms of Memphis, TN and Hazel Lewis of Humboldt, TN; four sisters: Phyllis Milligan, Elaine (Jeff) Ward, Diane McFall and Donna Holder of Union City, TN; one brother, Tommie Holder, Jr. of Union City, TN; two nieces; Brandi (Justin) Jeffries of Las Vegas, NV and Demecca Whitby of Tupelo, MS; six nephews; Darrell (Pam) Milligan, Sean Milligan, William (Connie) Ward of Memphis, TN, Jeffrey Ward, Terrell (Trina) Davis and Thomas Moffatt all of Union City, TN; a sister/cousin, Bobbie Smith of Detroit, MI and a host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tommie Lee "Son" Holder, Sr. and Jessie Lee Holder.
