Perry Carr, Sr.

Mr. Perry Carr, Sr., 71, of Woodland Mills died Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY. Services will be held at noon on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Anointed Church of The Living God. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. Perry Jerome Carr, Sr., was born on February 20, 1954, in Woodland Mills, TN to the late Jesse and Essie Whitsey Carr. He was a member of Mount Herman Missionary Baptist Church, He was a graduate of Obion Central High School, a United States Navy Veteran, employed by with the City of Woodland Mills and Pleasant Hill Pecans. He married Cheryl Ann Amos Carr on November 19, 1978. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2015. He is survived by his sons, Perry (April Taylor) Carr, Jr., Bradley (Tana) Carr and Brently (Allan Jones) Carr; his siblings, Agnes (Willie) Huff, Barbara Bolden, Timothy Carr and LaRethia Motley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
