Polly Mae Crawford

Mrs. Polly Mae Etheridge Crawford, 91, of Paris died Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her home.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Wiley Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

She was born on May 13, 1931, to the union of William and Sally Mae Williams Etheridge in Paris, TN.

She was a faithful member of Wiley United Methodist Church where she served on the Kitchen Committee (Breakfast of Love) and Communion Board.

She was married to Paul Douglass Crawford who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are two of her children: Joe Wayman and Victor Crawford along with twelve of her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memories are her five children: Nell Crawford, Paul (Jeanette) Crawford of Paris, TN, Paula (Thomas) Harris of McKenzie, TN, Theresa (Larry) Williams of Paris, TN and Sylvia Tharpe of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Trena, Sedric, Tasnena, Marcus, Stevie, Karen, Ryan, Cornilus and Ebony; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; Clara Johnson and Dorris Etheridge; Joe (Nora) Browning and James (Melinda) Stockdale Jr.; brother-in-law, Stan (Christine) Douglas; sister-in-law, Claudine Douglas and a host of other relatives and friends.
