Ramona Jean Fitz

Ms. Ramona Fitz, 48, of Hickman died Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at her residence.Services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Saturday.Ramona “Mona” Jean Fitz was born on January 9, 1969, to Rev. Michael and Dorothy Thomas Benford in Union City, TN. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mona was a 1987 graduate of Fulton County High School and she was a school system cafeteria employee. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Dasmond Fritz of Hickman, KY and Deandre Benford of Hagerstown, MD; a daughter, Kanisha Wooten of Hickman, KY; a granddaughter, Aliyah Fitz of Tiptonville, TN; her parents, Rev. Michael and Dorothy Benford of Hickman, KY; two sisters Cheryl (Derrick Harrell) Frame and Shuntia Benford both of Hickman, KY; five nieces, Jasmaine Frame, Briana Benford, Tyshawana Allen, Elexius Benford and Diamond Mitchell; a nephew, Dapheus Allen; a great niece, Zailah Frame; five great nephews, Zayden Kinney, Zyian Frame, ZyAiryn Frame, ZyErique Frame and Caelon Swift; a special friend and companion of twenty-three years, Alvin Wooten of Hickman, KY; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
