Ray Austin Littleton

Mr. Ray Austin Littleton, 66, of Rantoul, IL formerly of Paris died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at St. Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Ray was born October 14, 1954 in Paris, TN, son of the Howard Mancile Littleton & Christine Tharpe. He lived in Rantoul, Illinois and attended Henry County High School, class of ‘73.

He was employed with Rantoul Foods.

Ray enjoyed going to church and he loved his son and grandchildren and enjoyed playing pool with his son.

He was preceded in death by, his parents: Howard Mancile Littleton, Sr., Christine & Herman Tharpe; one sister, Linda Ann Moore; one brother, Alvis Lee Littleton; aunts: Grace Littleton Haynes, Flora Littleton Black, Reubena Littleton Jackson, Burnadine Littleton, Helen Tharpe, Maybelle House, Lillie house and Della Morris; uncles: Thomas, Ossie and Aquilla Littleton, Ham Tharpe, Robert House, Sr., Williams Morris, Sr. and James House.

Ray leaves to cherish his memories; his son, Cortino (Cielita) Allen, Sr. of Murray, Kentucky; grandchildren: Kiyanna Allen, Torrean Palmer, Tyshea Allen, Cortino Allen, Jr. and Marshawn Coats; sisters: Deborah Hutcherson and Donna Tharpe, both of Paris,TN, and Martha Appleton of Huntsville, Alabama; brothers: Cornelius Littleton of Crockett, Texas; Howard Littleton of Rockford, Illinois and American Morris of Fairbault, Minnesota; aunts: Waynie Puckett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
