Raymond Louis Robinson

Mr. Raymond Louis Robinson, 51, of Union City died Friday, September 6, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. He was born on February 15, 1962, in Union City, Tennessee to the late Martha Cook Robinson. Ray was a graduate of Union City High School. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He was self employed as a HVAC Technician. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Dorothy Robinson and a daughter, Ashley Manning (Xavier) of Union City, Tennessee; two stepsons, Martweze Grier and Willie Pritchard of Lithonia, Georgia; three brothers, Edward Neal Robinson of Benton Harbor, Michigan, James Robinson of Union City, Tennessee and Donny Robinson (Yolanda) of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a sister, Joyce Williams (Willie) of Union City, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Neiel and Yahliya Yisreal of Union City, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Robinson; two brothers, Preston Robinson, III and Ivory Robinson and two sisters, Mary Virginia LaRue and Dorothy Kellie.
