Robbie Louise Hutcherson

Mrs. Robbie Louise Hutcherson, 91, of Paris died Monday, September 27, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.

She was born June 15, 1930, in Paris, TN to the late Rather and Allie Henry Milligan.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. A graduate of Henry County Training School and an employee of Paris Special School District for 36 years.

Robbie was married to the late R.L. Hutcherson for 62 years.

In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by four sons, Robert Lee Tharpe, Tarza Hutcherson, Jackie Tharpe and Johnny Hutcherson; two sisters, Corine Dobbins and Eva Wynn and three brothers, Hafford and Rufus Rather Lee and William “W.T.” Thomas.

She is survived by seven sons, O.L. (Joyce) Hutcherson of Shreveport, LA, Thomas Earl Tharpe, William Owen (Marilyn) Tharpe, Hoza (Bernita) Hutcherson, Kenneth Hutcherson, William Timothy Hutcherson and Tony (Debbie) Hutcherson all of Paris; three daughters, Peggy Wilson, Hattie Kendall and Stella Hutcherson all of Paris; a daughter in law, Deborah Hutcherson of Paris, forty-nine grandchildren, one hundred twenty great-grandchildren, forty great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
