Robert Lester Bobbitt

Mr. Robert Bobbitt, 89, of Paris died Friday, March 23, 2018, at his residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday 5 p.m. until 8 at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Puryear. He was born on December 28, 1928, in Trezevant to the late Maggie and Robert Bobbitt Sr. He married Zora Viola Bobbitt on August 15, 1958; she preceded him in death.Survivors include four sons: Dwight (Joyce) Bobbitt of Huntingdon, Donald (Janice) Bobbitt of Florida, Robin (Cynthia) Bobbitt of Euclid, Ohio, and John (Pamela) Bobbitt of Maple Heights, Ohio; three daughters: Elaine Bennett of Cleveland, Sakenna (Stanley) Noel of Georgia and Sakeron (Robert L.) Collins of Paris; two sisters: Stella Hughes and Mary Wardlow; three brothers: James (Theresa) Bobbitt of Atwood, Leroy (Elsie) Bobbitt of Louisville and Willie Dean Bobbitt; 26 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.He also was preceded in death by a son: Gary Bobbitt; and two daughters: Dorothy Samuels and LaToya Bobbitt.   Rawls Funeral Home – Paris 731-642-1515
