Mr. Robert Carl Bransford, 81, of South Fulton died Saturday, January 6, 2018, at his home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Oakton, KY. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, KY.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Rawls Funeral Home in South Fulton from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and also on Thursday from noon until time of service at the church.
Robert Carl Bransford (Uncle Bobby) was born in Clinton, Kentucky on March 3, 1936, to the late Hafford and Louise Johnson and raised by his mother and stepfather, Buster Johnson. Bobby was the third of six children.
Bobby attended Riverview High School where he completed the eleventh grade and later went on to obtain his GED.
He maintained a steady work history. He worked in the MSI Factory for eighteen years as a sewing machine operator and a totor for sixteen years.
He leaves to cherish his memories three children, Pamela Harvey of St. Louis, Missouri and Bobbie Jean Seaton and Cornelius Davis of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Anthony (Darlene) Johnson of South Fulton, Tennessee and James (Angela) Johnson of Paducah, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mason; his parents, Hafford and Louise Johnson; his stepfather, Buster Johnson; two sisters, Helen Smith and Martelle Coneal and one brother, Jimmy Rogers.
