Rochell "Rudy" Renea Thompson

Ms. Rochell "Rudy" Renea Thompson, 34, of Martin died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Summers officiating. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. She was born on June 8, 1977, to Joe and Sandra Rooks. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. A 1995 graduate of Westview High School. She was a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin. She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Andre Thompson; her mother and father, Sandra and Joe Rooks; one brother, Willie (Bettina) Rooks; one sister, Cindy Fulton; a godfather, Bill Turner; one niece, Brittany Fulton; three nephews, D'Marquis Wright, Keilan and Kaiden Rooks; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
