Roger Lee Easley

Mr. Roger Lee Easley, 68, of Union City died Saturday, March 20, 2021, at his residence.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon on Friday in Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born July 23, 1952, to late George and Vyra “Morris” Easley of Union City. Roger is one of 14 children.

Roger attended the Union City School System. He graduated and received his diploma from Union City High School in 1971. He went on to attend Western Kentucky Technical and Vocational School where he received a degree in Masonry.

He spent years as an employee of Reelfoot Packing Company but retired from Jimmy Dean.

Roger leaves behind his daughter, Genika Turner of Union City, his son, Chauncey Easley of Dallas, TX, grandsons, Lakevius Turner of New Mexico and DeKayvrun Jordan of Union City. He also leaves behind his siblings, Elizabeth “Louise” Easley, Janice Easley and Gloria Easley of Union City, Shirley Easley of South Fulton, Patricia Crumble, of Hickman, Caroline Easley of Indiana, brother Charles Easley of Mississippi, a sister-in-law, Eunice Easley of Illinois and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Vyra Easley; his sisters, Janet Kaye Easley, Dorothy Easley; brothers, Jerry Easley, Billy Easley, William Easley, Robert Easley and Bobby Easley.
