Roland Hayes Wheeler

Mr. Roland Hayes Wheeler, 65, of Mayfield formerly of Fulton, Co., KY died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Clayborn officiating. He was born on March 1, 1947, in Hickman, son of the late Walter Wheeler and Georgia (Motley) Wheeler. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and retired hospital worker. He is survived by two sisters, Mattie McClerkin of Hickman and Mae Frances Brown of Akron, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clay Brown and Harry Brown; four sisters, Rose Smith, Marcellis Woods, Lula Mae Vincent and Shirley Jordan. Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
