Mr. Ronald Freeman, 59, of Paris died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Henry County Healthcare.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Fuller officiating.
Ronald was one of twin boys born to Cordia “Penny” Howard Freeman and the late Earl Freeman on July 21, 1956.
Ronald graduated from Henry County High School in 1974 and completed McKenzie Vocational School in 1976. He worked as an automobile mechanic at Bob Miller Chevrolet, Eastside Enterprise and Joe Mahan Ford. He later worked at Atlantic Homes and then for Custom Metals.
He possessed an infectious spirit and never seemed to meet a stranger. He loved old cars, especially his 1960 Olds Star Chief which belonged to his dad and grandmother. He enjoyed playing cards and visiting with family and friends. Ronald was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and relished spending time with his “boys”, Brian and Dylan.
He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Cordia Mae “Penny” Freeman; daughter, Shekia “Kitty” Allen of Brownsville, Tennessee; sons, Brian Johnson and fiancée, Kayla Mitchell and Dylan Johnson of Paris, Tennessee; sister, Sabra (Terry) Fuller; brother, Donald Freeman; grandchildren, Timia and Tavan Tharpe of Brownsville, Tennessee; an aunt, Jacqueline Tharpe of Paris, Tennessee; one nephew; five nieces; two great nieces; two great nephews; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
