Rosetta King

Mrs. Rosetta Pearson King, 77, of Union City died Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin noon on Friday at the church.

Rosetta King was born in Union City, Tennessee on August 4, 1946, to Arthur Daniels Pearson and Rose Ann Caruthers in Union City, TN at Obion County General Hospital.

She was employed at Salant and Salant, H.I.S., and Little General Convenience Store until her retirement. She was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching tv and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children; Terri and Tonya King (Union City, TN), a brother; Terry Pearson (Fulton, KY), grandchildren; Chanté King (Dyersburg, TN), Na’ Tyra Robinson (Union City, TN), Jala Hayslett (Union City, TN), Kalijah King (Murfreesboro, TN), Malaki Brooks (Union City, TN), two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Joe Pearson, Robert Lee Caruthers, Jeff Pearson, Kim Pearson, and son; Robert Charles King.
