Mr. Roy Thomas, 63, of Hickman died Friday, September 4, 2015, at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Nicholas Glenn and Elder Michael Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. He was born September 1, 1952, to the late Mattie Virginia (Poole) and James Thomas in Humboldt, TN. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Fulton County High School in 1972. He attended West Kentucky Vocational School in Paducah, where he graduated in Brick Masonry. He is survived by two sisters, Helen (Charles) Harvey and Dorothy (Minister Michael) Benford both of Hickman, KY; a brother, Henry (Wanda) Thomas of Union City, TN; three sons, Emmanuelle Harvey, and Kellee Harvey both of Paducah, KY and Bill Ray “Big Man” (Michelle) Scott of Union City; a daughter, Christy (Emmanuelle) Pettigrew of Fulton, KY; thirteen grandchildren; two aunts, Annie “Topise” and Mattie “Lassie” Poole both of Hickman, KY and a host of other relatives and friends.
