Mr. Roy Windham, 69, of Martin died Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Rawls Funeral Home.

Mr. Roy Lee Windham was born, March 30, 1950, in Louisville, Mississippi. He attended Weakley County Training School in Martin, TN. He was the son of the late Roy and Johnnie Mae Windham.

He worked many years for Hubbell Lighting, Inc. He later retired from Northwest Counseling Center in Martin, TN.
Roy Lee loved attending church, shopping, cooking and decorating houses, which he did very well. He was a very sharp dresser and was famous for frying chicken.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; two sisters: Delois Askew and Joeline Shane; one brother: his twin, Lee Roy Windham; two aunts: Ollie bell and Catherine Reed; three uncles: Uncle Lee, Uncle Lonnie, Uncle James; two nephews: Kenneth Windham and Jerry Shane; two brother- in-laws: Vander Scott and Rodney Royster; and one niece, Fortina Jackson.

Mr. Roy Lee "Tody" Windham leaves to cherish in his memory, his loving children: Darwin (Christine) Windham of Hickman, KY, Shanita Windham, Roy Windham, Pam Gardner and Evangeline Booker all of Martin, TN; seven sisters: Shirley (Antonio) Brock, Ernestine Scott, both of Martin, TN, Nellie (Gallian) Fulton of Savannah, TN, Rita Royster and Mattie Richardson both of Nashville, TN, Jeweline Edward, Ruby (Michael) Miller, both of Dale City, VA; thirty grandchildren; fifteen greatgrandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
