Ruby Jean Woodruff

Ms. Ruby Jean Woodruff, 66, of Paris died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at her residence. Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Sparks Street Church of Christ with Bro. Edward Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10am on Thursday at the church. She was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Anderson and Carrie Teague Tharpe. She worked at Mar-Kel Lighting for 20 years. She was a member of Sparks Street Church of Christ She leaves three children: Felicia, Ashley and MaKecia Woodruff, all of Paris; seven siblings: Shirley (Leroy) Harris, Louise Brown and Beverly (Michael) Milliken, all of Mansfield, Celesta Thompson, Betty McDonald and Bobby Lee Tharpe, all of Paris, and Bracie (Peggy) Tharpe of Nashville; Two uncles: Terry (Bobbi) Tharpe and Jetta (Namson) Tharpe, both of Paris; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
