Russell Milton

Mr. Russell Milton, 64, of Union City died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Rawls Funeral Home, with Elder Darrell Turner officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Larry Simpson, Jimmie Sledge, Jerome Anderson, Darrell Pirtle, Keith Pirtle Jr. and James Bogan. He was born Dec. 3, 1946, in Chicago, son of the late Dennis and Maple (Green) Milton. He had been employed at the former Morning Star Nursery in Rives for 36 years. Survivors include his sister, Mary Lee Morris of Dumas, Ark.; two brothers, Dennis Milton of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Eugene Coaker of Waynesville, Mo., and a companion, Louise Easley of Union City.
