Russell Andrew Pigue

Russell Andrew Pigue, fondly known as "Brown," was born on September 10, 1963, in Sharon, Tennessee. He departed this life on August 25, 2025, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.

Russell devoted his career to public service, retiring from the public works department for the City of Sharon, where his contributions were marked by a strong commitment to the community he loved. A member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.

A devoted husband to Jennifer Henry Pigue since their marriage on July 4, 1995, Russell's affection for his family was evident in all aspects of his life. He deeply cherished his roles as a father and grandfather, creating memories filled with love and warmth. 

Russell's interests extended beyond his family; he had a passion for working on cars, which often served as a means to connect and engage with others. His love for children shone brightly, and he was known for his gentle spirit and positive presence in the lives of many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Pigue; his mother, Laura Jones Pigue; his children, Jeules (Holly) Granger and Cassandra Granger; his sister, Junice Pigue; and his grandchildren, Nick, Macy, Lillian, Elizabeth, Elijah, Kristofer, Cadyn, and Crislyn Granger. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Russell Pigue, and his sister, Laura Lavell Evans.

Visitation will be held on September 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church, located at 226 Chestnut Street, Sharon, TN 38255. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, honoring a life that touched the hearts of many. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery in Sharon, TN.

He will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
