Sandra Rooks

Mrs. Sandra Rooks, 74, of Martin died Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Sandra K. Rooks was born on August 20, 1950, in Lake County, Tennessee to Sam and Lue Gaither Miller.

She graduated from the Troy-Obion Central High School in 1968. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Martin, TN. She worked at Martin Manufacturing for 40 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Willie Joe (Bettina) Rooks, one daughter, Cindy Fulton, six grandchildren, Brittany Fulton, D’Marquis Wright, Andre “Buster” Thompson, Pannayiatta (BJ) Marshall, Keilan and Kaiden Rooks, three great-grandchildren, Kolbe Wright, Keion and Ke’layah Rooks.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joe Rooks , one daughter, Rochell “Rudy” Rooks , one brother, Charles Miller, and one sister, Jean McAlister.
