Shirley Delois Callicutt

Mrs. Shirley DeLois Callicutt, 76, of Union City died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at her residence. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at East View Cemetery in Union City, with Graham McGill officiating. There will be no visitation. She was born March 29, 1934, in Mounds City, Ill., daughter of the late George and Muszette (Alcox) Buren. She was the widow of Ruben Thomas Callicutt and was a retired nurse who had been employed at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Survivors include her stepson, Thomas Donaldson of Decatur, Ill.; her sister, Ida Belle Parker of Seattle; her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Kris Buren of Renton, Wash.; and three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her stepson, Derrick Johnson; and four brothers, David Buren, Charles Buren, Ronnie Buren and Curtis Buren. Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
