Ms. Shirley Ann Williams, 60, of South Fulton died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Jackson -Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. James Watford officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Shirley was born August 9, 1954, in Fulton, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucille Williams. Shirley was a member of the Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church.
She worked at the Henry I. Siegel plant until it closed, then later became an employee of Tyson Foods in Union City, Tennessee. Shirley loved life, family and friends and always had a quick smile to share with those she met.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Larry D. Williams “Duke” of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter, Towana N. Williams “Nennybite” of Fulton, Kentucky and three grandchildren, Jawrence M. Williams and Jakira Williams of Fulton, Kentucky and Jalen Mosely of Nashville, Tennessee. Shirley leaves four siblings, two sisters, Ada Misher of South Fulton, Tennessee and Betty Williams of Chicago, Illinois and two brothers, Henry E. Williams, Jr. of Marion, Illinois and Jimmie L. Williams of Chicago, Illinois. Others who will mourn her passing include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins including a special friend, Ronald Maze and close friends, Clara Freeman, Clarissa Ingram and Elaine Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lucille and two sisters and four brothers, Dorothy Williams, Sarah Virginia, Henry Leonard Williams, Charles E. Williams, James Larry Williams and Joe Lynn Williams.
