Stacey Carr

Mr. Stacey Carr, 76, of Union City died Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Stacey Edward Carr was born on December 19, 1946, in Water Valley, MS.

He was a devoted husband, father, great neighbor, and he never met a stranger. He had a smile that lit up the room.

He leaves to mourn a beautiful wife, Gladys Carr, four sons, Terry (Tammy) Woodward Carr, Stacey (Jackie) Carr, Joseph (Pam) Brewer, and Donovan (Tammy) Woods, daughter, Prema Carr (Steve)Terry, two grandaughters, Kara (Tasha) Woods-Scales, Mareshia “Lace” Mays (the cherished one), two grandsons, Jordan Terry and Leland Woodard, two great-granddaughters, Marciyeh Mays and Taylann May-Patton, one great-grandchild, Mario Mays and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Princess Woods , three sisters, Maggie Turner (Junior), Ruby Tolesy (Brodis), Annie Martin (Joe), and three brothers, Jonas Carr (Dannish), Johnny Carr (Clare) and Raymond Carr (Katie).
