Mr. Stephen Oneal Shane, 40, of Dresden died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Home. Private Services will be held later.

Stephen ONeal Shane was born June 26, 1980 to Hattie L. Hankerson and Mitchell O. Shane, in Martin, TN

Stephen found Christ early in age and was baptized at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 10 by the late pastor Dr. Norman Greer. Stephen attended school in Weakley County and graduated from Dresden High School in the year of 1999. Stephen worked at Sodexo for many years as a cook.

Stephen loved to cook and considered himself a Grill Master. He also loved to watch football and was a loyal New England Patriots and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his loving mother, Hattie Hankerson; Father, Michell Shane; His three children Shaniyah Shane, Stephen O. Shane Jr., and Laniyah Shane; Three brothers Darwin (Christie) Windham Sr, Alex Mitchell, Eric (Crystal) Hankerson Jr; Three sisters Shanita Windham, Alfreeda Mitchell, and Avonda Hankerson; A special Daddy/Aunt, Rose Arnold and siblings Shawana Smith and Angela “Angie Pooh” Davis; And a host of Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
