Steven Eugene Flanigan was born in Memphis, TN on Monday, September 28, 1959, to Thomas Ison Flanigan, Jr. and Wanda Jean Flanigan, the second of four children. He fell asleep in death at home in Union City, TN on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

He was married to his loving wife Stephanie for 30 years. He is uncle to nearly 30 nephews and nieces.

Steve was raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He has been rebuilding his relationship with his God, Jehovah, for over a year.

Steve was a painter by trade, specializing in custom homes and hotels. His true talent shined when he accompanied his guitar playing with songs he composed.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Wanda Flanigan, and his sister, Teresa Crumble.

His memory will be cherished by: His wife Stephanie Flanigan, and his brothers William (Barbara) Flanigan, and Philip (Sarah) Flanigan, his brother-in-law Leroy Crumble, as well as a multitude of nephews, nieces and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026. at Obion County Fair Grounds.
