Susie Jane Teague

Mrs. Susie Jane Teague, 79, of Paris died Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.Services will be held at noon on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Progressive Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. She was born on March 14, 1938, in Henry County to the late Noah Price and Lizzie Phelps. She was a member of Barrs Chapel Church. She was married to the late Jessie Freeman Teague. Sue is also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters, Buster Price, Booker T. Price, James Price, Ervin Price, Robbie Lynn Brown, Rose Hudson and Donnie Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Ann Johnson, Dorothy (Jerry) Starks, Denise (Larry) Edwards and Emily Williams all of Paris, Larry (Gwendolynn) Teague and Gary (Sandra) Freeman both of Clarksville; two step daughters, Deborah Hutcherson and Donna Tharpe both of Paris; one sister, Peggy Price of Detroit; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
