Mr. Thomas James Dysart, Jr., 48, of Union City died Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fulton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
Thomas James Dysart, Jr., was born on January 1, 1977, to the late Thomas and Mattie Dysart in Union City, TN.
He was formerly employed with Ferry Morse Seed Company. He loved to go fishing and gardening. On September 22, 2024, he rededicated his life and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint from August of 2024. He served as a member of The Melchizedek Priesthood.
On November 9, 2002, he was married to Yolonda Phelps Dysart to this union three daughters were born.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Dysart and grandparents, Robert and Mollie Dysart.
He is survived by his wife, Yolonda Dysart; three daughters, Jasmine (Desmont) Dysart, Brittany Dysart, Olivia Dysart all of Union City, TN; a son, Jayvius Dysart of Union City, TN; four sisters, Carolyn (Michael) Hart and Alice Hurt of Union City, TN, Anita Cheirs of Fulton, KY and Tolanda (Nathan) Wallace of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers, Anthony (Pamela) Dysart of Atlanta, GA and Derrick Frison of Union City, TN; two grandsons, Preston and Aaron Foster both of Union City, TN; a granddaughter, Jay’Lani Dysart of Louisville, KY; a godson Allan Jones of Dyersburg, TN a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
