Tony White

Mr. Herbert Tony White, 67, of Martin died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Diversicare of Martin.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery in Martin.

Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

Herbert Tony White was born on May 1, 1954 in Martin, Tennessee to the late Hubbard and Reola White. He attended Martin Westview in Martin, Tennessee and graduated in 1972.He was the oldest of five children.

Tony moved to California at an early age to pursue a career in the medical field at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, one of the largest hospitals in the United States. After working there for over 25 years, he retired and moved back to his birth place, Martin, Tennessee where he resided until his death.

After a short illness at Diversicare in Martin, Tennessee, on June 2, 2021, God sent his angels down to bring him home. His mother, Reola and father, Hubbard White preceded in his death. His brother, Ronald White, also preceded him in death.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory: five sisters, Donna Thomas of Millington, TN, Kimberly Miller of Sharon, TN, Saughn White and Shanon White of Bakersfield, CA, and Felicia Barnett of Martin, TN; five aunts, nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and close friends.
