Vera Price

Mrs. Vera Price, 91, of Paris died Friday, November 11, 2011, at Henry County Healthcare. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born May 20, 1920, to the late Jim and Nellie Boyd Tharpe. She is survived by three brothers: John (Hazel) Tharpe and Junior (Ruby) Tharpe, both of Paris, and Cass Tharpe of St. Louis, Mo.; Five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Jimmie Lee Tharpe Sr. She also was preceded in death by four brothers, five grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Rawls Funeral Home – Paris 731-642-1515
