Vivian Puckett

Ms. Vivian Puckett, 77, of Paris died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at home.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Vivian R. Puckett was born on June 19, 1946, in Henry, Tennessee to Lizzie Puckett and Roy Puckett Sr.

Vivian graduated from Central High School in 1964. She worked at Holley Carburetor Plant for 20 years until it closed. She then worked at Henry County Nursing Home for six years.

Vivian was a faithful member of Wiley Chapel United Methodist Church where she attended weekly and worked in the church in various capacities up until her health failed her.

She was also a member of the Sister to Sister Club where she was vice president and was a member of the Friendly Sisters Club.
She has two living sisters Edna Williams and Elsie Anderson who both reside in Indianapolis, Indiana and one living brother, Roy Puckett Jr, who resides in Paris, Tennessee.

She has two nieces Cynthia Puckett of Memphis Tennessee and Dehia Williams and Elizabeth Puckett of Indianapolis, Indiana and two nephews Dennis Ray Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Steven and his Wife Tanisha Puckett of Clarksville, Tennessee.  She has five great nieces, Ja Kayla Sparks, Kamryn and Kayla Puckett, Melissa Gray and Tamara Handley, two great nephews, Ja- Karri Sparks and Phoenix Puckett, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lizzie Puckett and Roy Puckett Sr., one sister Gwendolyn Ray and one brother Joe Puckett.
