Wayne Alvin Crump

Mr. Wayne Alvin Crump, 81, of Paris died Wednesday, December 02, 2015, at his home. Arrangements are incomplete. Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home. He was born on August 12, 1934, Bessame, Texas to the late Curtis and Hazel Chestnut Crump. He was reared by mother and late stepfather Tommy Boss. He was a graduate of A&I (now known as Tennessee State University). He furthered his education by attending the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. He taught school in the Henry County School Syatems for over forty years. He was married to the former Lois Dunlap on October 18, 1968. Left to cherish his memories his wife, Lois Crump; a son Garrick (Tiffany Deese) Crump; a granddaughter, Marilyn Crump; a nephew, Tommy (Shirley) Rigmaiden; a life long friend, Boyce Rowe and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
