Welbert "Rooney" Steward

Mr. Welbert “Rooney” Steward, 47, of Milan died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Mr. Welbert Gene “Rooney” Steward was born July 27, 1963, to his loving mother, Jerlene Bryant Adams in Milan, Tennessee. “Rooney” confessed Christ at an early age and was a Christian by faith. “Rooney” had a variety of hobbies, including car racing, skeet shooting and working on Cars. He also loved collecting model cars and listening to country music. “Rooney” was preceded in death by his stepfather, Sylvester Adams. Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted family: mother Jerlene Adams; brothers, Fred (Beverly) Steward, Jr. of Atwood, Tennessee, David Adams of Milan, Tennessee and Derrick Adams of Lexington, Tennessee; sisters, Teresa (Finis) Bobbitt of Atwood, Tennessee, Tanya Adams of Memphis, Tennessee, Monica (Michael) Tate of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Andrea Anders of Milan, Tennessee; loving ex-wife and dear friend, Barbara Steward; best friend, Craig (Angela) Williams and children, Christopher Ashlyn and Creed Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
