William Scott, Jr.

Mr. William B. Scott, Jr., 65, of Martin died Friday, March 13, 2015, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, with Phillip Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. He was born July 16, 1949, in Huntingdon, TN to William Scott, Sr. and Tessie Beatrice Mebane Scott. He was educated in Huntingdon, TN. He met and married Claudia Breedlove Scott on January 29, 1967 and had three children. He is survived by his children, son Patrick Scott of McKenzie, TN, Zeta (David) of Dallas, GA and Jonathan (Brandee) Scott of Covington, GA; two grandchildren, Javan and Jai Scott both of Covington, GA; two sisters, Brenda (John) Teague and Paulette Strickland both of Paris, TN; a brother, Terry (Teresa) Scott of McKenzie, TN; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
