Mr. Willie Cross, 73, of Hickman, KY died Thursday, March 19, 2026, at The Waters of Union City.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Willie Cross, age 73, of Hickman, Kentucky, was born on April 19, 1952, in Hickman, Kentucky, to the late Jessie Cross and Ethel Foulks.

Willie was united in marriage to Ruth Cross. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was employed at Babcock & Wilcox in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later at Williams Sausage Company until his health began to decline. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Cross and Ethel Foulks; his sisters, Gladys Shields, Michelle Cross, Ethel F. Foulks, Doris Higgins, Corene Foulks, and Betty Foulks; his brothers, Richard Foulks, Raymond Foulks, James Foulks, Kevin Foulks, John Foulks, James Cross, and Sammy Alexander. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Anthony (Tacora) Cross and Christopher Phillips of Milwaukee, WI, two grandchildren; and one bonus grandson, Anthony Jr., Christopher Jr., and Davarius Freeman. He is also survived by his sisters: Maudie (Dwight) Gamble of Carbondale, Illinois; Martha Jones (Aubery) of Fayette, Missouri; Jeanine (Richard) Johnson, Pearl Calcutt, and Victoria Clark of Union City, TN; Cynthia (James) Chapman of Milwaukee, WI; Pam (Michael) Young of Tiptonville, TN; and Diane Freeman of Hickman, KY. His brothers include: Gary Sanders and Jesse Folks III of Mount Vernon, IL; Joe (Rasheeda) Sanders of Carbondale, IL; Roy (Francis) Swift of Hickman, KY; Arthur Cross of Union City, TN; Prenell (Sherry) Cross; of Ridgely, TN, Marcel (Joanne) Cross of Atlanta, Georgia; Melvin (Susan) Swift of Hickman, KY; Renell Swift of Ridgely, TN; and Jesse Von Swift of Ridgely, TN. 

He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
