Mrs. Willie Mae Giles, 88, of Paris died Friday, January 24, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

She was born on July 26, 1936, in Henry, Tennessee, to the late George L. Dunlap and Lovie B. Dunlap. She was baptized at Cole’s Chapel CME Church in Henry, Tennessee and later a member of Melton Grove Baptist Church. She was a proud graduate of Central High School and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Virgin Chapter 55. She worked several jobs in the area abut find her true calling as a caregiver at Westview Nursing Home.

She was married to the late Charles Ray Giles and the late Archiel Mayo, Jr.

Willie Mae is survived by her last remaining sister, Barbara Ann Meadows; children: Tyrone Charles Giles (Annette), Carolina Elizabeth Yanders (Charles), Rhonda Arlene Lyle (Henry), and Winifred Diane Tharpe (Steve); her daughter-in-law Althea Giles (Fredrick Lee); and her grandchildren: Xavier B. Giles-Jinkx (Paul), Tiffany L. Nelson (Edward), Charles Tyrone (Tank) Giles Jr., Montica Lynn Kendley Giles, Teonia Lee Giles, Frelando Ray Giles Sr., Dontay Fredrico Dunnaway, Clarence Shelton (Toby) Maye Jr., Jessica Manzi (Antonio), Marie Lenton, De-Shaunta Lane (Marcus), Quo Lyle (DaJona), Jilriale Lyle (Adrian), Gary Lyle, Tiffany Lyle, Shinetta Lyle, Kotera Kendall, Jaquan Tharpe, Janisha Sparks, Jakarra Sparks, and Jamesha Sparks. She is also survived by 48 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and special friends: Ms. Bobby June Teague and Ms. Traci Peel and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands and parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Lee Giles; siblings Rosie B. (Pumpkin) McWhether, Bettye Webb, and Mae Ruby Mullins; great-grandchildren Christopher Giles Sr., Lydell Conley Jr., and Jonacye Otey; father-in-law Kelley Tharpe, daughter-in-law Yvonne Giles, son-in law Charles Yanders.
