Willie Norman

Mr. Willie Norman, 55, of Union City died Sunday, August 20, 2023, at his home.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel in Trenton. Also, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

Willie B. Norman was born July 11, 1968, to the late Willie Norman, Sr. and Jessie Mae Finch Norman in Gibson County, TN.

Willie B. accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion of Bradford, TN. He was joined in union with Pamela King in 1996 with two children, Tennille Garrett and Chysea Marney who blessed him with two grandchildren, Zora Reeves and Mahryion McElrath.

Willie gained employment with Emerson Electric for 12 years in Humboldt, TN and William Sausage in Union City, TN. Willie B. was a very spiritual person, with a great sense of humor. Willie loved to congregate with his friends and family at the Last Word Café.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, Pamela Norman; children Tenille (Keith) Garrett of Dyersburg, TN and Chysea Marney (Rhynia Reaves) of Union City, TN; brothers James Edward Norman, Donell Norman, Damon Norman, all of Gibson County, TN; sisters: Deborah Norman, Regina Norman, Daphne Norman, and Gloria Norman, and Ann Norman, all of Gibson County, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law: Terri (Denise) King of Martin, TN, Kenny (Cheryl) King, Estes King, Stafford (Ann) King, Penny (Craig) Moore, and Joyce King of Union City, TN; two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Jessie Mae Norman; his mother-in-law, Edna Z. King; sisters: Della Faye Norman, Della Ruth Norman, Barbara Norman, and Stephanie Louise Norman; brother-in-law, Larry King; and one nephew, JR Moore.
