Mr. Willie Clinton Watson, 95, of Union City formerly of Hickman died Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Volunteer Community Hospital. Services will be held at noon Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. James Roberson officiating interment will in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. He was born October 19, 1916, in Milan, TN, the son of Albert Watson and Zatrue Hughes Watson. Upon the death of his parents, Mr. Watson was raised by his aunt and uncle, Clint and Ella V. Hughes of Hickman, KY. He married Ella Mae Watson and remained married until her demise. In 1969, Mr. Watson met a very special friend, Ms. Rella Mae Wilson and remained very close until death they did part. He was employed by General American, East Chicago, IN until he retired in 1980. He had made a profession in Christ Jesus at an early age and was a member of the Johnson Chapel Baptist Church, Hickman, KY. He leaves to mourn: 15 children, James Watson of South Bend, IN, Constance Smith, Jarrod Smith of Chicago, IL, Melvin (Solita) Pullen of Benton Harbor, MI, Kelvin (Linda) Pullen of Mishawaka, IN, Arlene (Mickey) Williams, Carolyn (Fred) Kyles, Linda Austin, all of Benton Harbor, MI, and Darshetah (Robert) Jones of Union City, TN, Curtis Wilson Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Calvin Wilson of Hickman, KY, Howard (Jana) Wilson of Paducah, KY, Linda Humes of Chicago, IL, Anthony Wilson of Union City, TN, and Tyrone (Tabitha) Wilson of Columbus, MS. He has 32 grandchildren, plus one very special grandchild, Brian Humes of Chicago, IL, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Ella Mae Watson; his parents, Albert and Zatrue Watson; his brother, Earnest Watson; a sister, Doris Payne of Benton Harbor, MI; very special friend, Rella Mae Wilson; beloved aunt and uncle, Clint and Ella V.
