Mrs. Minnie Burton, 81, of Paris died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Henry County Healthcare Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Rawls Funeral Home with Dashon Kendall her grandson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Saturday.She was born November 4, 1930, in Paris, she was the daughter of Demoyne and Bessie Beasley Porter, now both deceased.She was a homemaker and a member of the church of Christ.She leaves two daughters: Darrell Ann Kendall of Paris and Cheryl Foster of Nashville; three sons: Anthony (Joyce) Burton, Michael (Amy) Burton and Rodney (Melisa) Burton, all of Paris; and one brother: Marbelle Porter; 16 grandchildren, including four she raised in her home, Scottie Williams and Terry, Katina and Dwight Tharpe; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and four nieces, two nephews and several other relatives.She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Hattie Tharpe; two sons: Jimmy Kendall and Anthony Eugene Burton; a grandson: Darius Montique Tharpe; and a brother: Waynon Travis Jr.Rawls Funeral Home – Paris 731-642-1515
