Edrell Virginia Mosley

Mrs. Edrell Virginia Mosley, 91, of Union City died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Services will be Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Union City Civic Auditorium, with burial to follow in East View Cemetery. Graham McGill and Gerick Thompson will officiate. Friends may call at Rawls Funeral Home in Union City from 6-8 p.m. Friday. She was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of the late Jim and Oma (Payne) Bransford. She was married to Cletus “Big Hand” Mosley, who preceded her in death. A homemaker, she was a member of Vine Street Church of Christ. She is survived by seven daughters and three sons-in-law, Jean and Willis Alexander of Union City, Marie Turner of Memphis, Pearlie and Kenny Wiggins of Memphis, Pam and Tony Davis of Union City, Flora Freeman of Union City, Regina Pitt of Portsmouth, Va., and Rozalyn Mosley of Union City; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Michael and Jodene Mosley of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Danny and Myra Mosley of Union City, Eddie Wayne and Nel Mosley of Temple, Texas, and Tony Mosley of Union City; a stepson and his wife, Billy and Peggy Bransford of South Fulton; a daughter-in-law, Margie Mosley of Union City; a brother, James Bransford of South Fulton; a sister-in-law, Anna Lovings of Union City; and forty-six grandchildren, seventy great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Leon “B.B.” Mosley and Cletus “C.W.” Mosley; four sisters, Maggie Alexander, Naomi Brooks, Clemmie Gorman and Mary Johnson; and five brothers, Haford Bransford, Leslie Bransford, A.B.
