Daisy Irvine

Mrs. Daisy Mai Irvine, 79, of Martin died Friday, May 16, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home.

Mrs. Daisy Mai “Cookie” Irvine was born on July 11,1945 to the late George and Daisy Steward-Rogers in Martin.

She worked most her life. She worked at the Box Factory and at Hubbell Lighting in Martin. She also worked at Martin Manufacturing, which she retired from. She enjoyed fishing and watching “Cowboys”.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two children, James Keith & Deana Irvine and Bettina & Willie Rooks; seven grandchildren: Pannayiotta (BJ) Marshall, Mercedes Irvine (Chris), Mariah Irvine, Jasmine Smith, Keilan & Kaiden Rooks and Madison Irvine (A’Mari); sixteen great-grandchildren: Ariella, Maliyah, Dallas, Kassidee, Karea, Keilah, Keidan, Kaia, Quemarion, Joe’Maya, Dre’a, Ari, Semaj, Brandan, Eleni and Jett.
