Mr. Joe Lloyd Jones, 58, of Martin died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at AHC VanAyer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Viewing will be from 12 p.m. until 1p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born March 15,1962 to Frankie L. Jones and Joe Louis Crutchfield of Martin, TN. Joe Lloyd was a fun-loving person. Joe made everyone he met laugh; No matter how difficult your day was he has a way of making you laugh and to forget that problem. He loved to play basketball and to eat, his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

He confessed his life to Christ at McCabe Temple United Methodist Church, where he loved to usher where he served on the usher board. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men and sang in the male choir. He was a 1980 graduate of Westview High School. After graduation September 1980, Joe enlisted in the United States Army. He completed a Hercules fire control crewman courses at the United States Army air defense school in Fort Bliss, Texas. Later he was stationed in Korea. There he was a member of the Hawk Fire Control crewmember conducted on as a guided missile operator consisting of radar for tracking down airplanes in the air defense system. Joe also worked at Martin Manufacturing. He loved his job and the people he worked with.

His Mother and father preceded him in death and one nephew Vallant Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories and love. Three sisters Clara (James) Hamilton, Kathy Vincent both of Martin, TN. Daisy Young of Baltimore, Maryland. One Brother Willie (Shirley) Jones of Martin, TN. Six nieces Cheryl Hamilton Martin, TN , Anita (Jerry) Hayslett Martin TN, Chevelle (Earl) Lewis of Knoxville, TN, Tonyua Vonner of Martin TN, Jill Jones of Martin TN, and Ifonda Jones of Saint Louis, MO. Five nephews Rev. James Hamilton Jr. of Paris TN, Roland Hamilton, Ricky Jones, and Timothy Jones all of Martin Tn. One uncle Sam Crutchfield. A Host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Two dear friends Walter (Kim) Scott and Marvin (Stephanie) West both of Martin, TN.
