Mr. Richard Smith, 59, of Hickman died Monday, December 16, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at West Hickman Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.

He was born Tuesday, May 4, 1965, in Hickman, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Lewis Smith and the late Doris Davis Smith. He was a farm worker for many years. He loved his family very much.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Anthony (Charity) Holloway, Lasheka Holloway, Steven Roberson and Arkeshia Smith; grandchildren, Kaylee Hendrix, Kaiden Roberson, Sydnie Cole, Landrie Roberson, Lyric Jones and Liberty Jones; siblings, Dorothy Ceaser, Mary Ann Chrisp, Ocie (Ella Mae) Smith, Bobby Smith, Selemore Smith, Hattie Smith, Corey (Felisha) Smith and Lisa Smith; special friend, Shirley Ann Mason; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, James Lawrence Smith and Jerry Lewis Smith.
