Robert Haynes

Mr. Robert Joseph Haynes, 72, of Mckenzie died Friday, May 3, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County. Services will be held at noon on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. Robert J. Haynes was born on October 1, 1951 in Carroll County to Huley and Nell Haynes. After graduating high school, he joined and served in the U.S Army. Later, he was employed at National Automated Sprinklers Union where he retired. While married to the late Linda Gardner, they welcomed one son Julian Haynes. Robert enjoyed tennis, fishing, music, and sitting by the lake. He’s proceeded in death by his parents; Huley and Nell Haynes, two brothers; William Edward Haynes and William Sneed. Leaving to cherish his loving memories is his son; Julian (Dana) Haynes, two grandsons; Xian and Xander Haynes as well as a host of family and friends.
