Linda Kay Morris

Linda Kay Morris, formerly known as Linda Pettigrew, was born on December 11, 1961, in Lexington, Tennessee. She peacefully left this world on September 10, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky, surrounded by love.

For 43 cherished years, Linda shared her life with her beloved husband, Jeff Morris. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with warmth and laughter. Linda's legacy continues through her children, Jacoa Pettigrew and Windi (Clarence) Pryor, who have inherited her strength and loving spirit. She was a wonderful mother, and her commitment to her family was unmatched.

Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, as she doted on her grandchildren, Jaron (Cheyenne) Pryor, Cody Pryor, Samayra Pettigrew, and Jalyn Pettigrew. Additionally, she was proud to embrace her role as a great-grandmother to little Jariah Pryor. Linda had a special bond with each of her grandchildren, sharing laughter, wisdom, and memorable moments that they will forever cherish.

As a sister, Linda was a source of support and love for her siblings: Peggy Pryor, Patsy Pettigrew, Dennis Pettigrew, and Danny (Margaret) Pettigrew. She had a deep bond with them, and her family extends beyond the immediate, as she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will keep her memory alive through their stories and experiences.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Curry and Eva Kizer Pettigrew, and her brothers Paul Parker, Kenneth Pettigrew, Sr., and Thomas Pettigrew, who have all been welcomed with open arms into eternal rest.

Linda Kay Morris was a woman of substance whose impact on her family and friends will be felt for generations to come. Her spirit, love, and dedication to her family will remain in their hearts forever. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
