James "Jamie" Jones

Mr. James "Jamie" Jones, 51, of Fulton, KY died Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his home.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery.

He was born on February 18, 1973, to Betty Horton and James Jones, and together they had a blended family of seven children. Jamie attended Fulton City High School and was loved by his family and friends.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, engaging in lively card and domino games, and simply having a great time with his friends and loved ones. Jamie began his spiritual journey at Mount Olive under the thoughtful guidance of Rev. Marvin Mercer, Sr. He loved the Lord. Jamie’s gusto for life was evident to all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Betty Lou Horton; father, James Jones; his wife, Vicky Noonan Jones; nine children—Asia Morris, Ameil Smith (Fulton), Jamela Jones (California), Destiny Crowe (Fulton), DeAngelo Noonan, Jamaude Noonan, Jarold Noonan, Decole Noonan, Demar Noonan (Mayfield); two sisters Delores Jones (Union City), Mary Ann Taylor (So. Fulton) and three brothers Kevin Jones, Deparis Chambers (Fulton), and Robert (Darshetah) Jones (Union City), his grandkids, Jayden Morris, Melody Morris, Milani Morris, Anayan Morris, Kai’tarvious Crowe, Sa’riyah Morris, Na’sir Morris, Gianna Wilmack and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his loyal dog, Draco

Jamie was preceded in death by his daughter, Anayah Morris , and his sister, Gloria Jean Taylor .
