Shirley Hudson

Ms. Shirley Temple Hudson, 88, of Paris died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at AHC Paris.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in Maplewood Cemetery. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

There will be no visitation friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

She was born on July 31, 1936, in Cottage Grove, TN to the late Milton McClain and Robbie Ann Hudson. She was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church and a long-time employee of Jim Adams IGA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Gwynell McDonald, Steve Hudson , James Hudson and Gail Paschall; siblings, Katie Paschall, Edward Hudson, Elizabeth “Nina” McClain Kidd, Millie McClain Fuller, Gladys McClain and Wendell McClain .

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Willie) Teague, Donna Hudson and Vickie (Larry) Todd; her siblings, Ada Sue Harris, Pearlie Kidd, Betty (Jimmy) McClain Harris, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
